OUTDOOR  EDUCATION

 At Clarendon Park we try and cater for all the needs of the child, including a love for the outdoors. Although the younger children, Gr 1 to Gr 4 do not spend any time away from home, they do however undertake day trips to various venues in and around Port Elizabeth.

By the time pupils reach Gr 5, we expect them to spend a night or two away from home. The Gr 5 and 6 pupils visit various outdoor venues in the Zuurberg, Addo district where they enjoy some exciting outdoor activities. These activities include hiking, canoeing, completing obstacle courses etc.

The Gr 7 pupils have been going to Hobbiton on Hogsback for the last 12 years. This is a 3-night camp where many superb activities like group dynamics, hiking, raft building, ropes courses and many other exciting activities are offered.
